Lindsay在3月17日回到长沙，但直到3月25日才抽出时间能和Gene碰面。Gene在雨夜乘公交车跨越湘江去找Lindsay。因为Linds太忙碌，而且之前和Gene发生了一些口角，所以Gene拿到书就直接转身离开了，拒绝了Lindsay拥抱的请求。：（
