沙沙沙沙飄蕩在背景的音訊挑動神經，逗引眾生最原始的本能。一道門接著一道門，世界在高潮與餘韻間延展：地下道麵包機拼合死生，柏林憑空砌出華麗中華夢，家國縫隙無法度化的觀音女身，變裝皇后周遊列國，茶座邂逅與遍尋不著的繩，郵輪停車場深處的喧囂騷動……徙居世界的生命，流淌於性別與國界的邊際，身分未定。

十篇題材各異的小說，交織組成五感與慾望的有機體。場景從香港到臺灣到歐洲，個人於城市中失語，流離異鄉亦是在重新審度自身與原鄉間的距離。在同性戀、異性戀、跨性別間流動的生命，逸脫了規訓與秩序，呈現出多元的情慾樣貌與自我展演。斷片殘像式的畫面跳接配合流行文化符碼的運用，王和平調動文字節奏，構造新巧意象，營造出令人耳目一新的語言風格。對聽覺與聲音的獨特感性，更可窺見她作為獨立音樂創作人的性格。

The rustling sound drifting in the background stirs the nerves, teasing forth humanity’s most primal instincts. Door after door, the world unfolds between climax and reverberation: an underground passageway where a bread machine stitches together life and death; Berlin conjuring a magnificent Chinese dream from thin air; the unquantifiable female form of Guanyin, caught in the crevices of homeland and nation; drag queens touring the globe; chance encounters in tea houses and the elusive search for rope; the clamour and commotion deep within a cruise ship’s car park… Lives displaced across the world flow along the margins of gender and national borders, identities unresolved.

Ten distinct short stories interweave into an organic tapestry of senses and desire. Scenes shift from Hong Kong to Taiwan to Europe, where individuals lose their voice within the city, their exile abroad a re-evaluation of the distance between self and homeland. Lives flowing between homosexuality, heterosexuality, and transgender identity escape discipline and order, revealing diverse forms of eroticism and self-expression.

王和平來自子宮、精蟲、卵，一聲高潮。虛無縹緲系，歌唱說話無力，惟空氣。靈魂跨境、逾境、不限。畢業於國立東華大學華文所。承蒙山海包容，撿起我。吸食詩歌、小說，世間笑話度日。二○一八年末發行首張概念專輯《路人崇拜》，收錄親密的卧室獨白、咆哮，竊竊私語，謹向異常依戀過的線上路人致敬。《色情白噪音》為自身第一本短篇小說集，獲二○二一第三屆後山文學年度新人獎。

Peace WONG emerged from the womb, sperm, egg—a single climax. Ethereal and elusive, she sings and speaks feebly, all air. Her soul crosses borders and transcends boundaries, unrestricted. She graduated from the Chinese Literature Department at National Dong Hwa University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Musicology at National Taiwan University. She is indebted to mountains and seas. They pick her up, and she subsists on poetry, novels, and the world’s jokes. In late 2018, she released her debut concept album About a Stalker, featuring intimate bedroom monologues, roars, and whispers—a tribute to online strangers once obsessively fixated upon. that’s the hormones speaking marks her debut short story collection and was awarded the 2021 Third Houshan Literature Annual Newcomer Prize.
