While I was in Singapore for the Singapore Writers Festival last month, Kaitlin REES and Nhã THUYÊN, who were visiting from Hanoi (I had met them for the first time when they invited me to a poetry festival in Hanoi in 2016), gave me an issue of AJAR to pass on to an artist—Elaine W.
